The Dove Phone


Sometimes something silly becomes part of a class.

Here is an image of Pope Gregory VII, of Investiture Controversy fame, that has inspired some students to new heights of silliness: the dove phone.

    Now THAT's LOL-worthy...what if God were one of us? Maybe that's the phone the Pope uses to call him up on?

    That is exactly the conclusion students drew from this image: the pope uses a dove phone to have direct access to god, thus the pope has more direct access than emperors.
